Accommodation
Fluffy blankets, warm tones and a silence that embraces… Soft curtains descend on the windows, and the scent of wood fills the air. Each room exudes the coziness of a mountain embrace – with the scent of coniferous wood, soft, warm lighting and a comfortable armchair next to a large window, opening a view of the endless richness of nature.
The evenings are quiet – you can only hear the whisper of the wind in the pine trees and the distant echo of the mountain. Nature here does not interfere, it is present – gentle, calm, real. The freshness of Rila sneaks through the window, and the silence brings peace that does not need words. Route to the Black Rock - legend, history and breathtaking view
Nestled in the heart of Rila, the Black Rock is a mysterious place whose name comes from its dark, centuries-old history. According to local legends, it is a witness to heroism - a place where rebellious Bulgarians sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom.
The hike is easy and scenic - about 90 minutes on a dirt road with blue markings, passing by the Maritsa hut and the Zavrachitsa hut. Along the way you will find rest areas with tables, benches and signs. Towering over 100 meters above the valley of the Golyama Slivnitsa river, the Black Rock reveals majestic panoramas of the ancient forests and mountain ridges of Rila - a view that is truly breathtaking.

At the top, the Tsar's Hut Sitnyakovo awaits you - a summer residence built in 1904 for Tsar Ferdinand. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Borovets, and there are picnic and relaxation areas nearby.
Route to the White Meadow – a walk amidst light and tranquility
If you are looking for a short and relaxing walk in the silence of Rila, Byalata Polyana is the right place. The easiest way to reach the summit is by cable car from Borovets to Yastrebets – the journey takes about 25 minutes, climbing over 1000 m in altitude, passing through dense pine forests to open, alpine landscapes.
For the more active, the route can also be walked on foot along the path below the lift – the climb takes about 2–2.5 hours depending on the pace. The terrain is moderately difficult, but completely passable in dry weather.
At the top, the Yastrebets hut awaits you, a wonderful place for a short break, a warm drink and enjoying the views. From here, the grandeur of Musala and dozens of other peaks and valleys around are revealed.
