Gela Hotel presents: The MENU XIV
An evening of the series is coming up. The MENU – a series of exclusive fine-dining experiences in which chefs tell stories not through words, but through taste.
The MENU XIV is a meeting between culinary art and the Rhodope Mountains: signature tasting menu, created especially for Gela, in which each plate reveals its own story – quietly, precisely and memorable.
GUEST CHEF: Vesselin Boykinov
Vesselin Boykinov is a chef with a clear philosophy and a strong presence – a cuisine based on local, seasonal products and work with small farms and local producers.
Veselin recently launched his new project ZEMYA – Terroir Cuisine by Tipchenitza in the village of Tipchenitza — a space dedicated to terroir, seasonality, and the connection between food and place. The concept includes tasting menus, working with small producers, his own winery, and wine tastings — an experience that cannot be described, but rather experienced.
In 2025, Veselin was awarded two BiorestBest awards – 1st place by Michelin inspectors and 3rd place by culinary critics.
Bread and kozunak with kvass – workshop with Stanislava Kuneva
Stanislava is the creator of "Bread & Soul" - a project that turns sourdough bread into a living process, a ritual, and a connection to the basics.
During the special weekend she will lead bread and sourdough bread workshop– a practical and sensory experience. Participants will touch the philosophy behind the slow process, learn basic techniques and feel how bread transforms from a recipe into a dialogue between man, nature and time.
Wreath workshop with Elitsa
We also invite you to a workshop for making wreaths made of natural materials – branches, cones, dry plants and natural textures collected from the forest. The process is calm, intuitive and accessible, regardless of previous experience.
The finished wreaths will be carefully packed, to take them with you – as a souvenir from the weekend and as a small gesture that brings the warmth of handmade creation.
